My Summer Reflections

Hey y'all! Summer is nearly gone and school is approaching, and this summer I have learned and done so much! Today I am sharing my reflections of Summer 2017, enjoy!

1. Lifeguarding isn't for everyone. This summer I got my first job as a lifeguard at my local water park. I have realized that it isn't for me however it introduced me to something I am very passionate about.
2. Creating a business. When I lifeguarded, I would be in a group of 4 lifeguards and teach little kids how to swim. When my mom's friends found out that I was a lifeguard, they asked if I could do private lessons for their kids. And while I was doing lessons with the other lifeguards, I realized that this is what I love to do! This summer, I did 9 lessons a week Monday-Friday then go to work. It was challenging, but next year is going to be promising! I am going to just do lessons next summer and hopefully get a lot more lessons in.
3. Scary movies. I have a tennis family, and one day when we showed up to the tennis courts, it started raining. So, we got in our cars and drove to my house since I live close by. One of the girls suggested The Conjuring so we watched it, and I LOVED it! Now, whenever it's raining, we go to my house and watch a scary movie! Last time we watched Annabelle, it was good too!
4. Being grateful. This is my first summer driving on my own, and 3 of my co-workers got in a bad car accident. Each lifeguard was in a separate accident, but they all happened in the same week. After this all settled, I am now even more careful when I drive.
5. My future career. I went to a engineering camp for a week this summer and realized that I am in love with geology. I love earth, rocks, how it all forms, etc. So right now my number one career choice(although it's not completely official) is geological engineering.
6. Excited for my future. This summer I got a taste of what college life is life(when I went to the engineering camp) and found my possible future career. Things are going great!
7. Tennis. I have been playing lots of tennis this summer, and the results are showing! I'm climbing up the ladder and improving so much!

How to Get Free Stickers

Hey y'all! I have been asked many times by my friends how I have so many stickers, so here is a post sharing my secret on getting stickers! Enjoy!

Here are 4 ways to get free stickers:

1. Actually email the company.
If you look up a company's webpage, find the "Contact Us" or "Customer Service" or something of the sorts and find an email address. Once you find the email address, copy it and start a new letter. I HIGHLY recommend creating a new email account specifically for emailing companies for stickers because the company will start sending you junk mail. Anyways, once you start a new letter, use this format on what to say to the company!

Hello! My name is _____________ and I was wondering if I could receive some stickers to represent and advertise your company! Thank you! My address is ____________________________.

You can tweak it if necessary, but this is the exact words I say when I email a company.

2. Fill out a contact form on the company's website …

My Driving Test

Hey y'all! Today I am sharing my rather hilarious driving test results, enjoy!

When we first arrive, I am literally shaking, I am so nervous! When the highway police men entered my car and we started my test, I drove to a deserted neighborhood and parked on a hill. So far so good! After driving around in the neighborhood, we drive back to where we started and I parallel parked. Actually I tried to parallel park...

Sooo you guys are probably wondering what the heck I was doing in the car! Well, I was going into the parking spot but I cut too sharp and didn't correct myself fast enough so I hit the curb. When I hit the curb I tried to correct myself again and ended up hitting the front cone. I put the car in reverse and backed up a foot or two. When the highway department officer told me to go back to the front of the building, I forgot I was still in reverse so when I pressed the gas we went backwards. I drove the car back to the fro…
